cameo.

The other day, something possessed me to do a little browsing in Silhouette’s online store and it totally sparked a newfound interest in using my Cameo! Truth be told, I hadn’t used that machine much since purchasing it last December (for no good reason, really), but I have a feeling it’s about to get a great workout.

While scrolling through the shop, I came across this Ribbon Bow Set and knew I had to get it. The bows are perfect for a variety of paper-crafting occasions – such as Mother’s Day! – and it’s only $0.99. Uhh, no-brainer.

So today I whipped up a little card for my mom using pink watercolors, one of the bows, and some of my hot pink cording. (A sidenote about watercolors: they make me feel like such a skilled artist, when all I’m really doing is mixing paint and water. I think I’m in love.) It was super quick and easy and I can’t wait to make more things with that Cameo!

xoxo

Thanks for sharing! I had to go get those shapes right away. ;) I know what you mean about not using the Cameo all the time, but man, is it ever addicting once you get on a roll! I can’t wait to see what else you make! :)
